The Snow Has Got to Go!

I have lived in New England my whole life and I am used to it being cold and snowing all the way into March, but that doesn't mean I have to like it! In the last couple weeks I was starting to see signs of spring, and I was getting excited because I love springtime. Now, all of the sudden we have MORE SNOW! I was not happy when I woke up this morning, and I don't have class on friday's so I cannot justify the snow by saying, "at least class was cancelled." That is another thing that bothers me about winter, it seems like whenever it does snow it is either over the weekend or on a day that I don't have class. Can I get a snow day please?!? At least then I could deal with this terrible weather but instead my car won't start and I'm stuck in the house all day! But I guess it doesn't matter anyways because I don't have a car to take me anywhere. These are some of the reasons why I hate february, because it is not quite spring yet but I am sick of winter. Does anyone else feel my pain?

Ive hated snow ever since I got into a snow-related car accident 2 years ago. It was more of a blizzard than a snow storm, but I hate it non-the-less.

My parents grew up in Iowa, moved to Wisconsin to work, and basically lived in the snow belt for the first 40 years of their lives before they said, "Hey! We don't HAVE to live here! See ya!" And they moved to Arizona. True story.

Cut to 2008, and see the Arizona boy teaching at a state school in Massachusetts....Yes, ready for spring too! Psychologically, it really helped to hear the RedSox on the radio Friday night, no doubt.

Make sure you're blogging in March! Don't lose out on those points!
