Movie Industry in Trouble??
Just like the music industry the movie industry may be in losing sales. There is a new website out called Surfthechannel.com that allows you to stream new movies as soon as they are in theaters. This could mean a huge loss in movie sales for the industry. They are trying to get rid of the site but it is hard to track down the operator of it. I think that if the price of going to see a movie wasn't so expensive then people wouldn't go online to watch them as much. Going to the movies is one of the biggest things to do when you are bored or want to just go out so it will never stop making money, unlike just going out to buy a CD. So I don't think they have that big of a problem on their hands.

I don’t really think that the movie business is in big trouble because going to the movies is one of the biggest things to do during the summer time. A lot of big budget movies come out during the summer and a lot of people go to the movies more during the summer because it’s hot out and everyone like to keep cool.
i don't know if they are in trouble or not but i don't remember the last time i went to the movie theater. Someone had sent me a link to a website that had all of the new releases and some more. Ever since then i just found that it was easier to watch movies on my computer rather than go to the movie theater...
u know what i do not think that movies are going to be hurt that bad either....but i do agree that the movies are way to expensive....i mean just me and my boyfriend spend about 40 dollars when we go the movies but i absolutely love it so i dont stop going but still thats way too much money...i mean come on the movies sometimes arent even that good...the last movie i saw that i was like yea that was good was probably...like over a year ago...i mean come one we download because we can so i dont know maybe they should just start making better movies...
