There is this new show called Pop Fiction on E! that is all about tricking the paparazzi. I watched it for the first time the other day and I thought it was a great idea. The paparazzi create rumors all the time and now it is the celebrity's turn to play with them. The one episode that I saw had Eva Longoria and Mario Lopes trying to make the paparazzi think they have something going on between them. They went shopping and then out to lunch. To really give the paps something to talk about Mario gave Eva a necklace and then put it around her neck. Just a few hours later these pictures and footage was all over the Internet. The paps are a very big influence on media. The fact that they could take a picture and then a few hours later have everyone thinking that Eva and Mario are having an affair is incredible. This new innovative show is a great Way to show the influence that the paparazzi have on media.
